Casey Anthony may soon be paid top dollar to share her story after years of unsuccessfully trying to profit off her tale.

Anthony flew into New York City late on Thursday with the same PR rep who was trying to negotiate a network interview after Anthony was acquitted in 2011, reported TMZ.

Anthony, wearing thick-rimmed black glasses and blue jeans, told a reporter at the airport on Thursday that she wasn't actually Anthony.

She is accused of killing her 2-year-old daughter Caylee in 2008. TMZ reported the woman was likely Anthony trying to keep a low profile.

No network has yet admitted that it has struck a deal with Anthony.

The now 29-year-old expected to make millions off book deals, movies and TV shows after she was acquitted of Caylee's murder in 2011, but the big-money contracts never materialized.

She filed for bankruptcy in January of 2013, claiming she was $792,000 in debt and had assets of just $1,000.

Court documents showed that Anthony was unemployed and had no income to speak of - perhaps until now.

Anthony is rarely spotted in public but earlier this month she was seen for the first time in more than two years, as it was revealed she has moved to a new home in a leafy Florida suburb.

Apparently trying to appear incognito, Anthony's appearance came two days after she was seen at a 10k charity race in Lake Worth, Florida and almost four years since her acquittal for the murder of her two-year-old daughter, Caylee stunned the nation.

Last seen in public at her bankruptcy hearing in March 2013, Anthony has been in hiding and in fear of her life since a Florida jury found her not guilty of first degree murder.

The dramatic trial was the most high profile since OJ Simpson's and following her successful 2011 defense, Anthony has been seen only a handful of times.

Having filed for bankruptcy in 2013 owing nearly $1million in legal fees to one of her attorneys, Jose Baez, Anthony has not been seen since.

The last image made public by the reviled mother was that of her and her other lawyer, Cheney Mason in July 2014.

The new sightings of Anthony come as RadarOnline revealed that Anthony now lives in a 2,000 square-foot-house in West Palm Beach.

Walking through the well-heeled streets, Anthony's black jogging pants and plain grey t-shirt make her look like any other young woman out for a jog.

A giveaway that she wants to keep her identity secret is the baseball cap slung low down over her face and her large, black aviators.

In all of the photos from Monday, the 29-year-old keeps her lips pursed as she walks across a lush lawn in the bright morning sun.

The outing earlier this month marked Anthony's second appearance in public in as many days.

She first resurfaced after more than two years on Saturday, attending a charity event in Lake Worth, Florida.

A grainy image of a woman strongly resembling Anthony was taken at the Women for Women 5k/10k race and later sent to KVJ Show, a popular morning program on the radio station WRMF-97.9 FM.

In the shot, Anthony appears wearing in a loose-fitting white T-shirt and a pink baseball hat. A pair of colorful bracelets, and what appears to be a black FitBit physical activity tracker, grace her slender wrists.

The same accessories were spotted on Anthony Monday in West Palm Beach.

Indeed, in July of 2014, Mason said that his client was living like a hermit and cannot leave her home because of the death threats she continues to get.

In an interview with CNN he gave a glimpse into what life is like for one of the most hated people in the country.

He said she works inside the home, making a living as 'a housekeeper, clerk, secretary and stuff like that.'

'She hasn't been freed from her incarceration yet 'cause she can't go out. She can't go to a beauty parlor, she can't go shopping to a department store, she can't go to a restaurant, she can't even go to McDonald's. She can't do anything,' he said.

Mason said Anthony has no relationship with her father, whom she accused of sexually abusing her, and very limited contact with her mom.

Instead, he and his wife Shirley act as parental figures or support, along with the rest of her defense team.

He said she still distrusts the world despite the time that has gone by.

'Casey is aloof,' Mason said. 'She is kind of, I think, afraid of people ... she's not real close to. We've had a couple of occasions to have social gatherings that can include her -- close friends, the (legal) team. She still likes to back away from the middle.'

During the two-month 2011 trial into the death of her daughter, Caylee, whose skeletal remains were found in woodland five months after she disappeared, Anthony became America's most hated woman.

Mason, a top Florida lawyer, became involved with Anthony's case in response to local media appeals for help from her first attorney, Jose Baez.

In February of this year, Baez revealed he lost nearly $400,000 because she was declared insolvent.

Her listed debts owed to 80 creditors included $500,000 for attorney fees and costs for Jose Baez; $145,660 for the Orange County Sheriff's office for a judgment covering investigative fees and costs related to the case; $68,540 for the Internal Revenue Service for back taxes, interest and penalties; and $61,505 for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for court costs.
