No Casey Anthony interview on horizon, despite meeting with NBC News producers: sources

Casey Anthony may finally be ready to tell her side of the story — but so far she can't get anyone to listen.

The notorious Floridian who was ultimately acquitted of the 2008 murder of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, met with senior NBC producers and bookers in New York last week to discuss the possibility of an exclusive interview, the Daily News has confirmed.

But a top NBC executive told the News,"There are no plans to do an interview or anything else with Casey Anthony,"

An interview would have marked the first time Anthony has spoken publicly since she was aquitted in June 2011 of first-degree murder, manslaughter and aggravated child abuse charges.

The 29-year-old former party girl fared less well in the court of public opinion, essentially having been forced into hiding and having trouble landing a job.

There is financial incentive for Anthony to land a big-bucks offer for an interview after declaring bankruptcy in January 2013
