JAMIE WILLIFORD - 16 yo/ Paraplegic - New Orleans LA

The NOPD is asking for the public's help in finding a missing 16-year-old.

Authorities say the girl, Jamie Williford, has been missing since 8 o'
clock Monday morning morning from her residence in the 7100 block of
Lamb Road.

According to the girl's mother, the teen is a paraplegic and is confined to a wheelchair.

The girl is described as a 16-year-old Caucasian female, approximately 5�5�, weighing about 130 lbs, and wearing a pink shirt.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the New Orleans Police Department at 821-2222, or 911.

She is a habitual runaway, and has done this numerous times in the past. Has family in Mississippi. Still missing.
The sad thing about runaways, imo, is they need to be looked for just like the abducted...sad/scary things happen to them, too.

Poster's Note: Unlike other e-mail responses I am not going to reprint all the info here. The reason is because this addressee responded with an unusual answer, and I'd rather not publicly embarrass the sender. I know she's still in the missing database or I wouldn't have written. Here's a suggestion: Pick up the phone or iuse some shoe leather to find out. Anyway, I find it interesting that this news reporter waits for the news to be sent in or called in.

No local law enforcement agency, nor the family, has let us
know whether or not they have found Williford. She's still in the missing
database, so as far as we know, she's still missing.
