ORLANDO, Fla. -- Cindy Anthony was questioned by the prosecution in her daughter's murder trial during a closed deposition Tuesday afternoon.
VIDEO: Attorney Refuses Comment On Questions
The deposition of Casey Anthony's mother was closed and it was not known what was specifically discussed in the deposition. Anthony's attorney, Brad Conway, would not comment on the types of questions asked.
Local 6 reporter Mike Deforest said this was likely one of the first times prosecutors have directly questioned Cindy Anthony since her granddaughter, Caylee Anthony's, remains were found in December.
This deposition occurred four days after prosecutors threatened to ask a judge to hold Cindy and her husband George Anthony in contempt of court for failing to hand over documents. The contents of the documents are still a mystery, but Conway hand-delivered them to prosecutors on Friday.

What did Cindy Anthony tell prosecutors today? WFTV has the scoop as grandma leaves with a smile

WFTV-Channel 9 opened its 5 p.m. news with an "exclusive": Cindy Anthony answered prosecutors' questions under oath today.
The word "exclusive" decorated footage of Anthony arriving at prosecutors' offices for the closed-door deposition.
WFTV's Kathi Belich said, "We have no way of knowing what questions Cindy Anthony is being asked and what her story is today."
We'll learn what Anthony said if either side puts her statements in the court file, which is public.
"For some reason, Cindy Anthony's deposition was hush-hush," Belich said at 6. "But we were tipped off."
Anthony faced four hours of questioning today.
Belich highlighted that Anthony had changed her story in the closely followed case of her daughter, Casey. Casey Anthony is charged with the murder of her daughter, Caylee.
Belich noted that Cindy Anthony had said such questioning would be "traumatizing," and yet she left "with a strange smile on her face."
Attorney Brad Conway said Cindy had nothing to hide. But Belich said Cindy's "credibility is already in question because she has changed her story so many times."
What might the topics have been? Belich speculated: "Today, months after she stopped communicating with investigators, there are a lot of new questions, some about the evidence taken from the Anthonys' home in December."
The WFTV reporter asked defense attorney Jose Baez if he was concerned about Cindy's deposition. "We'll have to wait and see," he said. "Let the state do their thing." "Exclusive" decorated that footage, too.
Yet Belich said that Baez's defense team calls him "Juannie Cochran" -- a nod to Johnnie Cochran. Many of the defense players had ties to Cochran, who represented O.J. Simpson. Baez also helped Cochran research a case years ago, Belich reported.
Baez wasn't talking about his nickname, Belich said. What could he say? If the glove doesn't fit, you must acquit?
