JESSICA WEISS - 13 yo - Lathrup Village/Detroit MI

An Amber Alert
has been issued for a 13-year-old Lathrup Village girl who was last
seen early Thursday morning at a friend's home and is believed to be in
danger because of emotional problems, said police.

The girl,
Jessica Nicole Weiss, was last seen on Avilla Street in Southfield at 2
a.m. Police said she left the friend's house voluntarily and went to
Detroit. She is believed to be in the area of Six Mile and Conant in
Detroit. Weiss is described as white, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 135
pounds with blue eyes and brown hair. She has a mole on the right side
of her face just below the corner of her mouth. She also has a scar on
her left arm. Weiss was last seen wearing a jeans, a white T-shirt with a black and purple butterfly on the front and black Nike tennis shoes. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Southfield Police Department at (248) 354-1010.

Jessica Weiss of Lathrup Village. She was last seen at 2:00 a.m.
Thursday morning at a home on Avilla Street in Southfield.

Police have reason to believe Jessica may be in the 6 Mile and Conant
area of Detroit. She has what's described as a "severe mental/physical
disability" and could be in danger.

Jessica is 5'4", 135 pounds, blue eyes and brown hair. She has a scar
on her left arm. She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with a black
and purple butterfly on the front, blue jeans and Nike shoes.

Anyone who may have seen Jessica Weiss is urged to call 911 or Lathrup Village Police, at (248) 557-3600.

An Amber Alert for a missing 13-year-old Lathrup Village girl has been canceled. The
teen, Jessica Nicole Weiss, was last seen on Avilla Street in
Southfield at 2 a.m. Police said she left the friend's house
voluntarily and went to Detroit. The girl was found in Detroit on Avon Street by 9 p.m. Thursday. Police said she "appeared to be in good health."
