Chicago Police have issued a missing persons alert for a 16-year-old South Side girl who was last seen two weeks ago.

Jessica Jones was last seen on Friday, Sept. 25, according to an alert
from Calumet Area Special Victims Unit detectives. She was last seen
wearing a blue multi-colored vest, blue jacket, blue jeans and white
gym shoes.

Jones has been diagnosed as bi-polar, the alert said.

She is an African-American, 5-foot-6 and 145 pounds with brown eyes,
brown hair and medium complexion. She may be in the area of 76th and
Racine, 72nd and Woods or 70th and Merrill, according to police.

A 16-year-old girl diagnosed with bipolar affective disorder who had been missing since Sept. 25 has safely returned home, Chicago police said today.

Jennifer
Jones, who was last seen in the area of 76th Street and Racine Avenue,
70th and Wood Streets and 70th Street and Merrill Avenue, has reunited
with her family, but police declined to release further information
about her prior whereabouts.
