"John Doe" - 9 yo - Fairfax County VA

Fairfax County Police say a man has been charged with abducting a
9-year-old boy in the restroom of a Dick's Sporting Goods store over
the weekend. According to police, the child was in the store on
Columbia Pike around 1 p.m. Saturday. They say he was there with his
father, and he told his father he had to use the restroom. Surveillance
video showed the boy going into the bathroom, and another man following
him. Then, the boy left the restroom and went directly to his father,
telling him that a man had stopped him from leaving the bathroom while
trying to engage him in inappropriate activity. The boy's father
then went to store security and described the man. Police were called
to the store and reviewed the surveillance tape before identifying the
suspect. Investigators say the man, 47-year-old Steven David
Liggon was charged with abduction with intent to defile and indecent
liberties. Police arrested him at his Alexandria home on Sunday. Police say the boy was not touched or hurt. According
to public records, Liggon is a registered sex offender who had been
arrested three times previously for child-related sex offenses in the
state of Virginia. Investigators say they'd like to speak with
anyone who thinks their child may have had contact with Liggon. Anyone
