Re: JACQUIR BASTON - 8 yo - Wilkinsburg PA
Wilkinsburg police are questioning a man suspected of kidnapping an 8-year-old boy this morning.
The
boy, Jacquir Baston, was taken to Mercy Hospital for examination after
he and suspect David George, 25, were located in a house on Perrysville
Avenue in Pittsburgh, police said.
State police canceled an Amber Alert issued for the two after police found them around 12:45 p.m.
Baston was taken from a house on Center Street in Wilkinsburg at about 3 a.m., police said.
George
and the child's mother, Annique Baston, argued early today, Wilkinsburg
police Chief Ophelia "Cookie" Coleman said. George is the father of
Baston's 4-year-old twins but not the father of Jacquir, Coleman said.
Baston
lives in Virginia with her children but was in the area because she and
George were due in court today for a child support hearing regarding
the twins.
"He told her he did not want to be in court," Coleman said.
