ZACHARY KNOX and SAMANTHA JACOBS - Teens - Moline IL

Moline police are searching for two teenagers who went missing
Friday and might have left the area together. Anyone who knows the
whereabouts of Zachary Knox, 16, and Samantha Jacobs, 15, is asked
to call Moline police Detective Marcy O'Brien at (309)
797-0401.

According to police, Knox's parents reported him missing at
12:27 p.m. Friday after they found their son's car at Prospect
Park. In the car they found a typed note from Knox, indicating he
had a desire to leave the Quad-Cities with his girlfriend, Samantha
Jacobs.

Jacobs' parents told police she also had a desire to leave the
area with Knox. Police said her vehicle is missing and is the
vehicle they are traveling in. The vehicle is a 1999 maroon
Chevrolet Lumina, with Illinois registration K177427.

Further details were not immediately available.

UPDATE: The kids have been found in Sacramento. Parents are traveling there now from Moline to get them and bring them back home!!

children were located in Sacramento Cal. They called their parents to come
home. They were returned on Saturday, Sept. 6^th, 2009.
