A Nederland family wants help finding their 15-year-old daughter, whom they have not seen since Sept. 2.

The daughter, Maresa Damas, has been seen in the Port Arthur area with an older man, her father, 47-year-old Jose Damas said.They
have not been able to contact her through her cell phone. She has run
away before, her family said, but this is the longest she has stayed
away.Maresa Damas stands 5 feet, 7 inches tall. She has curly brown hair and brown eyes.If you have information about Maresa Damas, please contact your local police department.

emailing the reporter who covered the original story - i can't believe there are no updates about her - but if she is a runaway that would explain it as they don't seem to follow up on runaways.

She was found later, but it seems that no
one from our paper wrote about it. It turned out that she was not
abducted. She was with a boyfriend.
