SIERRA MOWERY - 7 yo (2009) - Columbus OH

According to Columbus police, every year
thousands of custody cases arise where a child is filed as missing, but
is with the other parent.

Rodney Mowery, a nurse at a local hospital, has the
documents to prove that he has emergency custody of his 7-year-old
daughter, Sierra.

In 2005, Rodney and his wife Tina were divorced, since then, the
custody battles have continued. On August 26, Rodney was awarded
custody of his daughter, as Tina failed to show up for court, and is
now being held in contempt.

According to Mowery, his daughter has been missing since July 15.
Mowery has attempted to contact his ex-wife but has failed to do so.

Mowery has filed a police report and showed us a copy of a document
which shows a warrant has been issued for the arrest of his ex-wife.

For months, Mowery has worked hard to locate his daughter, speaking
with detectives, a private investigator, handing out flyers, and
talking to neighbors, but still, no leads.

“It’s terrifying to me to even think my kid is missing. I don’t know
where she is. I always promised her even when she was a little girl,
that I would always be there to protect her,“ Mowery said.
