DEVIN GAMMON - 12 yo - Rutherford County TN

The family
of a missing 12-year-old boy is appealing to area residents to be on
the lookout for the child and call authorities if they know of his
whereabouts.Devin Gammon was last seen around 5 p.m. in the Lascassas Community. He was
wearing dark blue pants, black shoes and possibly a light shirt. He is
described as 5-feet-8, 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes and
has braces on his teeth.The
Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office has listed him as a runaway because
he left home of his own volition. The agency is actively searching for

A Rutherford County teen whose been missing since Wednesday is now
in the Rutherford County Juvenile Detention Center on a runaway
petition after he was located moments ago.Devin Gammon,
12, has been missing since Wednesday, but was located moments ago at a
friend's house, according to his mother, Kelly Gammon."We're
glad that he is safe and that he is not hurt," Kelly Gammon said. "Now
we just have to work through whatever is wrong and pull together as a
family and figure out why this happened."Kelly Gammon
said the family will not be allowed visitation with the boy while he is
at the juvenile detention center. It will be Monday before the family
sees him in court."We were prepared for this to happen because we filed the runaway petition with the Sheriff's Office," the mother said. According
to Kelly Gammon, Devin was staying with an underage friend. The
underage friend's parents were not aware their son had contact with
Devin. Kelly Gammon thanked everyone for their support during "this difficult time."
