Police in Greendale, Indiana on Wednesday released a 911 call made
after family members discovered the body of a 12 year old boy on
Tuesday. The coroner tells Local 12 this afternoon that the autopsy
has been complete, and a meeting will be held tomorrow with prosecutors
to decide what, if any, steps should be taken as a result of Cooper
Rawat's death. The cause of death has not been released.

Someone who identifies himself as William Smith called 911 around 9 a.m. that morning.
"We
need an ambulance, please," the man says to dispatchers. "We have a
child in distress." When the dispatcher asks Smith to explain what may
be wrong with the child, he replies, "Ma'am, I think he's passed away.
He wasn't feeling good last night."

Smith tells the dispatcher
he is making the call from a next-door neighbors house because the home
where the boy was found has no phone. He also tells the dispatcher the
boy's mother is back in the house with Cooper. When asked how he knows
the boy has died, Smith says, "He's cold and stiff."

The
dispatcher tells Smith to try and get a cell phone and return to the
home so he can call 911 again and be talked through CPR. But Smith
begs for an ambulance to come to the scene.

Investigators are
not releasing any circumstances surrounding the boy's death. Family and
neighbors were questioned on Tuesday afternoon. The neighbors say
Cooper's mother told them the boy went to bed Monday night with a
headache.

Cooper was home-schooled, according to neighbors,
but also attended Greendale Middle School. They say he was sweet and
well-liked, and could often be seen riding his skateboard or building
forts in the neighborhood.

His death is being investigated by
Indiana State Police and the Greendale Police Department. Detectives
ask anyone with information into what may have happened to Cooper to
call CrimeStoppers at (513) 352-3040.

GREENDALE, IN (FOX19) - The Dearborn-Ohio County Prosecutor's Office announced Wednesday that a 12-year-old boy who died last year died of natural causes, based on the determination by the Dearborn County coroner.
Cooper Rawat, 12, of Greendale, was found dead in his home on Oakey Ave. in November 2009.
"In layman's terms, Cooper developed a disease process that made the blood vessels throughout his body 'leaky,'" said Dr. Tracey Corey of Louisville. "Unfortunately, when the blood vessels in his brain became 'leaky,' this caused him to suffer a fatal stroke."
Dearborn-Ohio Prosecutor Aaron Negangard said this was an extremely rare case that required consultation with some of the nation's top experts in child fatality cases.
