KAMESHA HALL - 18 yo - (2009) Cedar Hill TX
Authorities
said they have suspects but had made no arrests as of Wednesday in the
case of a Cedar Hill teen who had been missing since last month and was
found dead Friday afternoon.Kamesha Hall, 18, a recent graduate of Cedar Hill High School, was reported missing by her mother on Oct. 28. A
passer-by found her body in a creek bed along Pentagon Parkway near
U.S. Highway 67 in Dallas. It's unclear how long the body had been
there. The Dallas County medical examiner ruled the death a homicide, saying she suffered blunt force trauma to the head. The events have been a blow to the community, said Cedar Hill's public relations manager, Corky Brown."Even
back when she was just a missing person it was sort of a big story here
in our own community, because we're still pretty tightly knit," Brown
said. "There was a lot of concern about it, and I know that [the
police] aggressively worked it as a missing person."According to Hall's aunt, Hall was last seen by a friend in the area of Joe Wilson Road and Winding Creek Drive."They
went to a couple of stores in Cedar Hill," said the aunt, Charlene
Ballard. "From what the girls say, she walked her to the stop sign ...
and she went home – and never made it home."Ballard described
Hall as a typical teenager who loved her family, played basketball and
dreamed of being a rap star. She had recently passed a test to join the
Navy, the aunt said."No one had the right to take her life," Ballard said.Family and friends blanketed Cedar Hill with fliers while Hall was missing.Ballard said that although God didn't grant their prayers to have her home safely, he did bless the family in another way. "He
brought her home, and that's important," Ballard said. "We could be
like other families, you know, that still don't know where their babies
are."Anyone with information is asked to call Cedar Hill police at 972-291-5181.

In response to the slaying of a Cedar Hill teen, a "live and let live" hotline will be open to teens from 6 to 9 p.m. tonight.
Law enforcement, lawyers, judges and organizations including The Family Place, Promise House will offer teens resources and advice on getting out of drug and gang activity and abuse.
Teens can call 1-214-821-8331 and emergency shelter will be arranged for those who need it.
The hotline, a march and rally are being held in remembrance of the life of Kamesha Hall, a recent graduate of Cedar Hill High School whose body was found in November in a creek bed along Pentagon Parkway near U.S. Highway 67 in Dallas, and other teens lost to violence.
The Dallas County medical examiner ruled Hall's death a homicide, saying she suffered blunt force trauma to the head.
The march will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Glendale Park and follow west on Ledbetter Drive to Big T Bazaar where the rally will kick off.
One-thousand Women for Life is hosting the event in collaboration with several local churches and groups. Youths and adults are encouraged to attend.

I actually knew Hanson Thacker personally a very long time ago. I am not sure what way his life headed but I am seeing not good. I was notified of his death and then did research on what he was going through. Very sad ending both ways. From my understanding, he killed himself. He did not want his daughter or mother to have to be in court and listen to what he had or may have done.
