Topsham police are looking for a 17-year-old girl who has been missing since Tuesday.
Kourtney Thibeault was last seen leaving her father's home at 4:00
Tuesday afternoon.

Police say she did call her father from her cell
phone that night at 11:30 and has not been heard from since.
Kourtney was last seen wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt and white
sneakers. She was driving a 2002, Ford Explorer with Maine plate
9063LT.
Police say the last people to see her say she seemed to be in good spirits.

said 17-year-old Kourtney Thibeault of Topsham left her home in her
father's vehicle Tuesday afternoon to travel to a class in Auburn.
Police said Thibeault hasn't been heard from since she spoke with her
via cell phone at about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.Police said no
friends have seen Thibeault and there have been numerous calls and text
messages sent to her cell phone. The last people to see Thibeault
indicated she seemed to be in good spirits and did not appear impaired
in any way.Thibeault is described as 5 feet eight inches, 230
pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a
brown hooded sweatshirt, jeans and white sneakers. Thibeault was

The search for a missing teenager came to a dramatic but happy ending Thursday night, thanks to an alert police officer.
17-year-old girl Kourtney Thibeault had been missing since Tuesday
night. Forty-eight hours later, Officer Troy Garrison was searching
for her when he noticed damage to a large tree on Roberts Hill Road.
Thibeault's car had crashed and landed at the bottom of a 40-foot
ravine. Police say when Garrison got to the car, the teen was alert and
began talking to him. Emergency crews freed her from the wreckage and
she was taken to Central Maine Medical Center.

A 17-year old girl has been found alive after a two day search.
17-year old Kourtney Thibeault was found trapped in her car after it had rolled down a ravine in Topsham, Maine.
Police found Thibeault Thursday night. Officers say she rolled down the ravine Tuesday on her way to a class in Auburn.
Thibeault's twin sister says Kourtney lost control of the SUV when she swerved to avoid hitting a deer.
Police say they traced her cell phone to the area, but still couldn't find her. A damaged tree indicated the trail to her car.
Police freed Thibeault from her car and took her to the hospital.
She is being treated for a broken pelvis, broken legs, and a broken
jaw.
She is expected to make a full recovery.
