KOURTNEY FRANCOEUR and KAYLA MARIN 16 yo's - Sabbatus/Augusta/Lewiston ME

Sabbatus ME ---- Police in Sabattus are looking for
help locating two teenage girls that have been missing for nearly a week.



They say 16-year-old Kourtney Francoeur of Monmouth was last seen on
April 9. She is described as 5 feet, 2 inches tall; 103 pounds; blond
hair and brown eyes. She has piercings in her tongue and upper lip.



Her friend, Kayla Marin of Sabattus, was last seen on April 13. She's
5 feet, 2 inches tall;120 pounds; light brown hair and brown eyes. She
had a black shoulder bag with a flower emblem on it.

Police believe they could be in the Augusta or Lewiston area.
If you have any information on where the teens might be call Sabattus
Police at 375-6952 or Monmouth Police at 933-9089.

Police are asking for help in finding two 16-year-old girls, one from
Monmouth and one from Sabattus.
Kourtney Francoeur, of Monmouth, left her Bonin Road home around 3
p.m. April 9, according to Monmouth police Officer Dana Wessling.
He said the girl has run away previously, but never for this long.
Francoeur is described as 5 feet 2 inches, 103 pounds with blonde hair,
brown eyes, a pierced tongue and piercing on the upper left side of her
lip.
Francoeur's father reported he last saw her April 9, and she said
going to the mall.
Francoeur is believed to be with Kayla Marin, 16, of Sabattus, who is
also missing. Marin is described as 5 feet 2 inches, 120 pounds, with
light-brown to sandy hair and brown eyes. She was last seen April 13 in
Augusta and Lewiston, Wessling said.
Wessling said he and Sabattus police Officer Gil Turcotte are working
together to locate the girls.
Wessling said he spoke to a third girl who told him she dropped off
Francoeur at a home in Litchfield or Wales around midnight April 12.

Two missing teens found safe

Two 16-year-old girls reported missing last month have returned home safely.

Chief Kevin Conger of the of the Monmouth Police Department said Kourtney Francoeur, of Monmouth, and her friend, Kayla Marin, of Sabattus, were found in a nearby community and returned home within days of media reports of the teens’ disappearance.

“They are safe and sound and back home,” Conger said
