NATASHA CARTER - 10 yo (2000) - Beckley WV

BECKLEY -- The search is continuing for a missing Beckley child, nearly a decade after she disappeared. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has asked for
public help. According to reports, Natasha Carter was last seen Aug. 8,
2000. Dec. 22, she will turn 20 years old.


Police said Natasha was abducted by her mother, Susan Carter. A felony warrant was issued for kidnapping. As part of the ongoing search, police are encouraging everyone to keep an eye out. "The first thing we would advise, if you had any knowledge of this
persons whereabouts, contact your local law enforcement so they can
follow up on the investigation," said Capt. Jeff Shumate, of the
Beckley Police Department. Natasha is white with blond hair and blue eyes. She was 10 when she was
last seen 9 years ago. At that time she was 4-feet, 2-inches tall and
weighed 50 pounds. She has a scar on her left eyebrow. You can call local police with any information.

Today is the eleventh anniversary of the disappearance of Natasha Alexandra Augusta Carter. She was abducted by her non-custodial mother, Susan Gail Carter, from Beckley, West Virginia. They may have left West Virginia.
