WILDWOOD — The Wildwood Police Department
are asking for the community’s help to find Natasha Hanstveit, a
16-year-old girl, who went missing while on a family vacation.

Posters with her photo and a $5,000
reward offered for information leading to her return have been posted
throughout five-mile-island.
Hanstveit was vacationing with her family
from Princeton when she was last seen on boardwalk, near Youngs Avenue,
by her sister on Aug. 17.

According to Wildwood police, Hanstveit
is not familiar with Wildwood and doesn’t have any other family or
friends in the area. She also didn’t have a cell phone or money the last
time her family saw her.

Hanstveit’s family said that she has been known to abuse alcohol and drugs, according to information from the Wildwood police.

She was last seen wearing a striped
orange and white sweater, a white tank top, blue capris, flip flops, a
gold seashell necklace, a seashell bracelet on her left wrist and
multiple plastic bracelets on her right wrist.

Hanstveit is described as white, just
over five feet tall, 110 pounds, with brown hair, hazel eyes and a scar
on her right thigh.

A $5,000 reward is being offered for
information leading to her return. Police ask that anyone with more
information on Hanstveit call the detective division at 522-0222 or 465-2800.

who had disappeared from the Wildwood Boardwalk on Aug. 17, has been
found.
“She was located safely in Absecon,” said Capt. Lynn Frame of the
Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office. “That’s all the information I have
right now,” she told the Herald.

Natasha, her mother, Claudia and sister, Sophie were in Wildwood for a
two-day vacation at the beach. It was their first time in the city.
