REBECCA DUMORNAY - 16 yo - Miami-Dade FL

The Miami-Dade police department is asking for the public's helping in locating a missing 16-year-old girl who may be in danger.

Rebecca Dumornay was last seen Friday leaving her school, Michael Krop Senior High, with another girl.

Police believe Dumornay may be in the company of an adult who is
believed to be involved with prostitution. Dumornay is about 5'2",
about 105 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on Dumornay's whereabouts is asked to call police.

Jewyll Dumornay-Wyman just wants her daughter to come home.Rebecca Dumornay, 16, has been missing since Friday afternoon, when she
was last seen leaving Dr. Michael M. Krop Senior High School in North
Miami-Dade, where she is a junior. Her mother, racked by worry, has put
out a one-woman dragnet for the five-foot-one, 102-pound teen.By Sunday, she had fielded tips about strip clubs, a mysterious man
from Hawaii and a drugged-out night on South Beach. She doesn't know
whether any of those tips will lead her to her daughter.


Dumornay-Wyman, who describes herself as a ``strict'' mother, said that
while Rebecca had never run away, her daughter's personality changed
after they moved from Tampa to unincorporated Miami-Dade near Aventura
in 2008, when Dumornay-Wyman remarried.``The biggest mistake I made was moving back to Miami,'' said
Dumornay-Wyman, 38. ``I feel like I'm losing my daughter to the Miami
streets.'' Rebecca, once an exemplary student, recently began
skipping school, and her grades were slipping. Three weeks ago, Rebecca
was punched in the face during a fight at school, her mother said.After Rebecca went missing, Dumornay-Wyman pulled Rebecca's cellphone
records and has been frantically calling the teen's friends. Tips have
trickled in via text-messaged photos and phone calls. She has printed
fliers, and family members and friends have helped in the search. Miami-Dade police have issued a BOLO -- Be On the Lookout -- alert, and are investigating the case, a police spokesman said. The tips have taken Dumornay-Wyman across Miami-Dade and Broward counties and into strip clubs in the early morning hours.Surveillance camera footage shows Rebecca leaving her high school
Friday with Alicia Williams, 18, a friend who recently moved out of her
home and began stripping at Secrets, a club in the North Miami area,
Miami-Dade schools police said. A friend of Rebecca's contacted
Dumornay-Wyman to tell her Rebecca had been seen on South Beach
Saturday night. She was with a man and looked as though she had been
drugged, the friend told Dumornay-Wyman. Friends told school
police that prior to her disappearance, Rebecca skipped school Thursday
afternoon to meet with a man who had flown to Miami from Hawaii to meet
her. Police do not know who the man is, or how he and Rebecca
met. According to phone records, the two communicated with each other
for about a month, Miami-Dade schools police said. Williams has
stopped answering phone calls. Calls to Rebecca's phone go directly to
voice mail, schools police said. The Hawaii man's number has been
disconnected. ``We don't believe that she's hurt. We just
believe she's getting involved in things she should not be,'' said
Melody Mitchell, a detective with Miami Dade Schools Police Department. Rebecca was last seen wearing jean shorts and a black sweater or jacket with a design of white wings on the back. ``I'm heartbroken,'' Dumornay-Wyman said.'' A 16-year-old girl, who had been missing since Friday afternoon,
was reported found and unharmed, Miami-Dade police said Monday.The teen, Rebecca Dumornay, had been last seen leaving Dr. Michael M.
Krop Senior High School in North Miami-Dade, where she is a junior. Her mother, Jewyll Dumornay-Wyman, had searched for her daughter in Miami-Dade and Broward counties during the weekend.


Police did not say how they found the teen.
