Four Victims; Sexual abuse (2008) - Watertown NY

A Watertown couple will spend the rest of their lives in federal
prison for repeatedly drugging and sexually abusing children at their
South Hycliff Drive apartment.Christopher I. Jansen, 29, and
Amanda D. Jansen, 28, were both sentenced Friday in U.S. District Court
to concurrent life sentences on each of three offenses: one count of
conspiracy to transport minors in interstate commerce with the intent
that the minors engage in unlawful sexual activity and two counts of
aggravated sexual abuse.The Jansens admitted to the crimes in
federal court in October. With their guilty pleas, they admitted that
in June 2008, Christopher Jansen went to Kentucky to pick up four
children, ages 13, 8, 5 and 3, and brought them to Watertown for a
summer visit.The Jansens further admitted that they had planned
and conspired to bring the children to Watertown for the purpose of
sexually abusing them while they were in their care and that they did
sexually abuse the 8-year-old boy and the 5-year-old girl.

WATERTOWN, N.Y. -- A husband and wife each were sentenced to three
concurrent life terms in federal prison for drugging and sexually
abusing young children in their Watertown, N.Y., home after bringing
them there from Kentucky.
U.S. District Judge David Hurd imposed the sentences Friday on 28-year-old Amanda and 29-year-old Christopher Jansen.
In June 2008, Christopher Jansen traveled to Kentucky to pick
up four children between the ages of 3 and 13 and brought them home for
a visit. Both Jansens admitted that they sexually abused the 8-year-old
boy and 5-year-old girl after drugging them with Ambien.
The Jansens have also pleaded guilty to sexually abusing
a 1-year-old in a separate case. Christopher Jansen also has a previous
conviction in Kentucky for raping a 7-year-old.
