AMBER PRICE - 14 yo - Brundidge AL
The search continues for 14-year-old Amber Price of Brundidge, who has been missing since Feb. 22.
“We haven’t been in touch with her, she hasn’t called, we haven’t heard nothing,” said Chris Adamson, the girl’s father.
It’s believed by family members and authorities that Price ran away from home between 5 and 6 a.m. almost two weeks ago.
The only known contact with Price since then happened that Friday Feb. 26.
“Two phone calls were made to her mother, both on that Friday,” Adamson said.
The child’s aunt, Jamie Duffell has been working with Adamson and local law enforcement to locate Price.
“We’ve got billboards up from Birmingham to Dothan,” Adamson said.
Additionally, the family has passed out flyers and had the story run on WNCF news in Montgomery.
Adamson said he plans to continue the campaign by utilizing more billboards and going into other areas.
The Brundidge Police Department has been working on the case, as well.
“They’re investigating as much as they can,” Adamson said. “We just don’t have any leads. We don’t have much to go on.”
BPD released a statement saying that anyone having information on
the whereabouts of Price would be advised to contact their local law
enforcement agency. The department warned that anyone found harboring a
juvenile runaway would be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
“I want to thank everybody for praying for her,” Adamson said. “I just hope we get her back soon, safe and sound.”
Anyone with information pertinent to this case should contact the
BPD at 735-3333 or Duffell at 372-3050 or 243-5229. They can also call
Adamson at 735-5689 or 372-8068.

Police are searching for a Pike County girl who has been missing for two weeks.
Amber Marie Price, 14, of Brundidge left home between 5 and 6 a.m. Feb.
22 and has not been seen since, the Brundidge Police Department said.
She has run away before, but she has never been missing for this long, police said.
Price has brown eyes and hair, is 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 110 pounds.
The Police Department has sent a “be on the lookout” alert to departments around the state.
The department stated that anyone who is harboring a juvenile runaway
can and will be prosecuted and urged anyone who has contact with her to
contact law enforcement to avoid possible charges.
Anyone with information about her location is asked to call the Brundidge Police Department at 735-3333.

There was no truth to circulating rumors that the remains of the
missing 14-year-old Amber Price were discovered yesterday.
“They’re getting her mixed up with a girl out in California,” said
Price’s father Chris Adamson.
Adamson was referring to a story that surfaced about an Amber Dubois,
also 14, who had been missing since Feb. 13, 2009 and who’s skeletal
remains were discovered Saturday.
Adamson said that news of the rumor didn’t cause him to panic.
“I already knew that it was a mix up,” he said.
Family members and authorities believe Price ran away from her home
in Brundidge more than two weeks ago. Since then there have been no
legitimate leads to Price’s whereabouts.
“We’ve been getting phone calls saying they’ve seen her but it hasn’t
really been her,” Adamson said.
But Adamson is still keeping his ear open for any possible
information.
“If you see her call me or call the Brundidge Police Department,” he
reiterated. “Especially if she’s seen in Troy. I can be anywhere in
five minutes.”
BPD likewise released a statement saying that anyone having
information on the whereabouts of Price would be advised to contact
their local law enforcement agency. The department warned that anyone
found harboring a juvenile runaway would be prosecuted to the fullest
extent of the law.
Anyone with information pertinent to this case should contact the BPD
at 735-3333 or Adamson at 735-5689 or 372-8068.
They can also contact Price’s Aunt, Jamie Duffell, at 372-3050 or
243-5229.
