BENJAMIN CONTRARIS - 11 yo - Des Moines IA

Des Moines Police are asking the public for help in finding a missing
11-year-old boy. Police say Benjimin Contraris has been gone since 10:00
p.m. Wednesday.



His father went to pick him up at a friend's house in the 1400 block of
22nd Street but the boy ran from him. Patrol officers later found him
but he ran from them as well.

Police say they are unsure why he keeps running, but are concerned
because he's so young.
