BRIANNA DAWN PERRY - 15 yo - Hickory NC

A missing Hickory, NC teenager is believed to be headed to the Grand
Strand area.
According to the CUE Center for Missing Persons, 15-year-old Brianna
Dawn Perry has been missing since March 31. The teen has schizophrenic
tendencies and is without any of her medications.


The CUE Center says Perry may be headed toward Myrtle Beach but may
also be in Catawba County, Burke County or Stanly County.
Perry is 5'2 and weighs 142 pounds. She has dark blond/light brown
hair. There are recent scars on her left forearm and wrist.

Law enforcement is searching for a teen that has run away from home.

Brianna Dawn Perry, 15, was last seen on Wednesday, March 31, at a
home on 14th Avenue, SW, in Hickory.

Perry is a white female, 5-feet 2-inches, weighs 142 pounds, has
blonde hair and brown eyes. She also has a scar on her left forearm. She
usually wears heavy makeup.

A Silver Alert was issued for Perry at 11:15 p.m. Saturday. Silver
Alerts are designed to help locate missing people with dementia or other
cognitive impairments.

According to information from the CUE Center for Missing Persons,
Perry is bipolar with schizophrenic tendencies and doesn't have her
medications with her. She could be in Catawba, Burke or Stanley
counties, but is thought to be headed to Myrtle Beach, S.C.

"Her mom told us she thinks she's headed to the beach," said Cpl.
Mark Saunders with the Catawba County Sheriff's Office. "She had been
asking family for money to go to the beach, since this week is her
spring break."

The sheriff's office has tried to use her cell phone to locate her by
sending a signal to it, Saunders said. That didn't work, though,
because wherever Perry is, her cell phone is in roaming territory.

said Perry's mother said this is not the first time the teen has run
away.

Anyone with information about Perry is asked to call the Catawba
County Sheriff's Office, at 464-5241, or 464-3112. They can also call
the CUE Center for Missing Persons, at (910) 343-1131 or the 24-hour tip
line at (910) 232-1687.

The teen that was reported missing from Catawba County was found
Monday.

Brianna Dawn Perry, 15, was found in Burke County. Additional
information was not available.

She was last seen Wednesday, March 31, in Hickory. A Silver Alert was
issued Saturday night for the teen. Silver Alerts are designed to help
locate missing people with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
