JOHNNY ALLEN YATES - 17 yo - Collettsville (NW of Hickory) NC

A 17-year-old boy was reported missing Monday in the Collettsville
area of Caldwell County.

Deputies are searching for Johnny Allen Yates.

He was last seen on July 5, 2010, at 2 p.m. Yates was on foot in near
Hoyles Grocery store.

For several months, Yates had been living on Mills Cove Road in the
Patterson community.



Yates is 5-feet 6-inches tall and weighs 135 pounds. He has brown
hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing dark blue shorts and a
"Green Day" T-shirt.

"No foul play is expected at this point," said Detective B.J. Fore of
the Caldwell County Sheriff's Office.

The Sheriff's Office is asking that anyone with information about
Yates' whereabouts to call the sheriff's office at 758-2324 or Crime
Stoppers at 758-8300.
