Judge Yet To Rule On Casey Defense Request

April 5,2010ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Casey Anthony's defense
team was be back in an Orange County courtroom Monday morning. Her
lawyers arrived just before the 10:00am hearing where they will fight to

walked into the court room just ahead of 10:00am (raw video | images),
wearing a striped button-down long sleeve collar shirt and dark pants.Casey's
attorneys want to know more about the volunteer search teams that
looked for Caylee. Eyewitness News reported last week how the search
group accused Casey's attorneys of wasting taxpayer money, with what
they called "frivolous defense motions." Taxpayers are paying for
Casey's defense.Judge Stan Strickland did not immediately rule on
the defense request for the EquuSearch records, saying he'd rule later
Monday or Tuesday.Meanwhile, we're waiting to hear whether
Casey's attorneys filed a motion to keep her jail letters private.
Eyewitness News also reported last week on 50 letters Casey had written
to another Orange County inmate.Investigators say the letters are
incriminating. The judge has said he will probably release them.

deadline for jb to file on the letters was sunday - the website is open on the weekends - but i am not sure they consider that a good filing date -
