ADRIAN DAVID CALLEROS - 13 yo - Murrieta CA

Police are searching for a 13-year-old Murrieta-area teen who has not
been since Tuesday afternoon, said Sgt. Michael Hatfield in a news
release.
Adrian David Calleros left his residence on his skateboard reportedly
to play at a nearby park about 2 p.m. Tuesday and he has not been seen
or heard from since, Hatfield said. Adrian was adopted when he was 3 and
has no prior history of being a runaway nor is there any indication
that he has, Hatfield said.
Adrian recently moved to the area and has no known local associates
and is not familiar with the area, Hatfield said.
Adrian recently re-established contact with his biological parents,
David and Marie Calleros of Fontana, and the couple have no legal
guardianship of him. Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is actively
attempting to locate David and Marie Calleros to question them about
their knowledge of Adrian’s whereabouts. David and Marie Calleros are
known to frequent the Fontana and Highland areas of San Bernardino
County.
Adrian is considered at risk due to his age, his unfamiliarity with
the area, and he has no previous history of running away.

An adopted 13 year old who went missing earlier this week may have left
the state with his birth-parents, police say.

At around 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, 13 year-old Adrian David Calleros left his
home in the 38800 block of Summit Rock Lane in French Valley, telling
his family he was going skateboarding at a nearby park. He has not been
seen or heard of since, according to Sergeant Michael Hatfield of the
Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

Adrian has no history of running away and has no known connections in
the area, as he recently moved there. Authorities consider Adrian "at
risk."



Adrian was adopted at the age of 3 after his birth-parents, David
Calleros, 45, and Lupe Marie Mata a.k.a. Marie Calleros, 41, lost
custody of him. He recently reconnected with the Calleroses, who have no
legal guardianship of the boy, and investigators say they have reason
to believe the three to have left the area together.

Southwest Station investigators believe the Calleroses may have Adrian
in their custody, and could be traveling to Glendale, Arizona in a
Silver 2008 Dodge Durango with unknown plates.

The Calleroses are from Fontana and have not been seen since Adrian
disappeared, Hatfield said. The couple is known to frequent the Fontana
and Highland areas of San Bernardino County.

in Highland after being abducted by his biological parents.
Riverside County sheriff's detectives arrested David
Calleros and Lupe Marie Mata on suspicion of concealing a child
from a legal guardian after they fled with their son, Adrian
David Calleros, according to a sheriff's report. At 3 p.m. Saturday, sheriff's detectives found the parents and
the boy at a home in the 41700 block of San Francisco Street in
Highland. The parents were detained for questioning and arrested.
The parents were known to frequent Highland and Fontana.
Calleros was adopted when he was 3 and had recently
reconnected with his biological parents. He had been missing
since Tuesday when he went to a park to play. He had recently
moved to Murrieta and was not familiar with the city, sheriff's
officials said. Sheriff's officials originally believed
Adrian and his parents were going to Glendale, Ariz., in a silver Dodge Durango.
His biological parents had no legal guardianship. David Calleros is a
member of the Soboba Band of Luiseño Indians. Both parents have a series
of drug convictions. Both Calleros and Mata were
booked at the Southwest Detention Center in French Valley, near
Murrieta awaiting charges. Adrian was in good
health. Sheriff officials did not say whether he had yet been
reunited with his adoptive parents.
