LINDSAY WILLIAMS - 16 yo - El Dorado (SW of Joilet) IL

ElDorado IL ---- An autopsy began Friday evening on an Eldorado teen found
dead in her bedroom Friday morning. Family called Eldorado Police to
the home around 10:00 Friday morning.
Shortly after, the Saline County Coroner asked State Police to help with
the investigation because the coroner says the death appeared
suspicious.
Authorities have not released the victim's name at this time. However,
investigators say she is a 16-year-old who lived in the apartment at the
Kermit Coffee Apartment Complex, managed by the Saline County Housing
Authority.

ELDORADO—We’re working on information we’re just now gathering in
Saline County—that a teen girl, age 14-15, has been found dead in her
apartment in Eldorado, apparently the victim of a drug overdose.
According to official sources, the girl had in her possession
prescription pills (said to be Lortabs and/or Xanax), but also later
attended a party in Equality, where she reportedly consumed alcohol as
well. The result was fatal. Her body was found this morning in an
Eldorado apartment; authorities believe she’d been dead for as many as
two to three hours.
We’ve been given a last name but not a first; we’ll withhold the name
until we talk to Illinois State Police, who, Saline prosecutor Mike
Henshaw said, are working the case.

Lindsay N. Williams, 16, of Galatia, passed away at 10:15 AM, Friday,
April 30th, 2010 in Eldorado. Lindsay was born in Carbondale, Illinois
on May 26, 1993. Surviving are her parents Roger (Dawn) Williams and
Michelle Denbo, Quentin Chapman and Jeff Denbo; siblings, Brandon and
Shawna Williams, Caitlin Williams and Donny Boulds, Justin Dowdy,
Chasidie Dowdy; grandparents, Phillip and Kathy Williams, Lynette and
Dave Seets, Judy and Obe Roberts, Donna Denbo; nieces and nephews,
Ashlyn Hammond, Aiden Boulds, Rodie Williams; aunts and uncles, Jeff and
Shellee Williams, Chris Williams, Heather Seets and Bob Scola, Tonya
and Gary Potts, Brian and Dawn Seets, Keith and Julie Creamer, Greg and
Alice Denbo, Kenny Denbo, Barbara and Evan Forbes, and several cousins
and friends. Lindsay was preceded in death by grandparents, Lee Denbo,
Cindy Williams, Cynthia and Elmer Pufahl, F. Marion and L. Blanch Seets,
Frank and Madolyn DeMaris, Ralph and Irene Williams and a nephew Keaton
Boulds. Funeral Services at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home at 1:00 pm
on Monday, May 3rd, 2010 with Rev. Walter Baker officiating. Burial
will be in Dodd Cemetery. Visitation Monday 11:00 am to service time at
the funeral home.
