Why are we here? What led most of us to find each other here at The Hinky Meter or Niecey’s blog, Humble’s blog, Blink’s, Mr. Sheaffer’s, or many of the discussion boards that may be frequented by some of us? For a large part of the readers and commenters here the answer to this question will most likely be the Caylee Marie Anthony murder case. It’s not just that the angelic face of Caylee touches our hearts, but the lack of natural affection shown not only by her mother, but in the conduct of her grandparents since her murder. Now speaking for myself only, it is the unacceptable and bewildering lack of maternal love exhibited by Casey that has compelled my fascination into this case.
