JADACA PAUL - 2 yo - Sacramento CA
Sacramento police said they have received no tips in their
search for a 2-year-old girl and her 23-year-old mother, who allegedly
abducted her Thursday afternoon.
Police spokesman Sgt. Norm Leong
said on Friday that there is nothing to indicate that the mother is
dangerous."The reality is that she probably has some issues,"
said Leong. "We have been looking for her all night and continue to look
for her today."
Police said that about 1:30 p.m., officers responded to a child
abduction report from the 3500 block of Auburn Boulevard.Child
Protective Services workers told police that during a supervised visit,
Cora Allo assaulted a CPS worker and took her daughter Jadaca Paul.
Authorities said Allo does not have legal custody.Laurie
Slothower, a spokeswoman for Child Protective Services, said she had
been unable to reach the CPS worker and could not disclose the worker's
condition without permission."Child welfare workers live in an
emotionally charged environment," she said.Although emotional
outbursts from clients are not uncommon, Slothower said it is rare for a
CPS worker to be physically harmed.Leong said an Amber Alert was
not issued because no vehicle description was available and there is no
evidence the child is in imminent danger.Anyone with information
is asked to call Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP or text a tip to 274637
(CRIMES). Enter SACTIP followed by the information.Callers can
remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
