At CASA-Advocates for Kids we see, day in and out, the impact of
abuse and neglect on our community’s children. CASA (Court
Appointed Special Advocates) is a program that utilizes trained
volunteers to provide a voice to abused and neglected children in
court. In Helena, we are fortunate to have a committed coalition of
child-serving agencies united to ensure the needs of these children
do not go unnoticed and will not be ignored. Particularly, our
coalition is seeking families interested in foster care and
adoption.

We call upon the community to lend a hand to children who are in
need. Attending the Family Find Fair at St. Paul’s Methodist Church
on May 22 is a great way to start. Drop by between 11 a.m. and 3
p.m. to learn how you may help. Representatives from a variety of
children’s agencies will be present to share information. It will
be a fun and family-friendly occasion with activities for
children.
