CHASITY ARMSTRONG - 17 yo - Katy (W of Houston) TX
Another day searching, another day of nothing.
Katy residents Christy and Paul Armstrong are looking for their
17-year-old daughter.
Chasity Armstrong disappeared April 16.
"We love and miss her so much," Christy said. "Our house is empty
without her."
Chasity was a 10th-grade student at Langham Creek High School when
one afternoon she simply didn’t get off the bus at her usual stop.
Christy said she was told Chasity got off the bus with a boy at a
different stop, that they went to a Wal-Mart, had a fight, and then he
left her there.
"Total lie," Christy said.
The next day the boy changed his story, telling Christy he dropped
Chasity off with a woman Chasity refers to as "Auntie," although there
is no biological connection.
According to Christy, the "Auntie" said she does not know where
Chasity is.
Christy also believes Chasity is not with her biological mother.
Chasity is the daughter of Christy’s husband Paul, meaning Christy is
technically Chasity’s stepmother. Christy said they were granted full
custody of Chasity more than two years ago.
"I’ve known her for nine years," Christy said. "I’ll do anything to
bring my baby home. I don’t know what to think. I’m scared to death that
someone is stashing her somewhere and she wants to come home but she
can’t."
Police have listed Chasity’s disappearance as a runaway.
According to a statement from the Harris County Runaway/Missing
Persons Unit, if the missing child is 13 to 17 years of age the case is
sent to its division unless there is any indication of foul play.
Christy said there’s no way Chasity ran away.
"She didn’t take anything with her, not clothes, not her cell phone,"
Christy said. "She was acting completely normal that morning, and she
has younger siblings she adores."
Christy said Chasity loves to draw with chalk outside with her
6-year-old brother Paul and 8-year-old sister Haleigh.
"They want to know when she’s coming back," Christy said. "I don’t
have an answer for them."
There’s somebody else who doesn’t believe Chasity is a runaway,
somebody that doesn’t even really know the family at all.
Porter resident Tracie Mills said there has been a string of
teenagers missing between April 12 and May 26, as well as two attempted
abductions, from Houston, Spring, Alvin, Blackpool and Cleveland.
"There is no known connection, however I fear there could be," Mills
said. "They’ve all been labeled as runaways, and that’s what terrifies
me. Everything in each case points to them not being runaways. I’m
afraid they are all connected by one abductor."
Mills said she first learned about the April 26 disappearance of
Spring resident Ali Lowitzer through Facebook, and began to find similar
sites, including Missing Teenager Chasity, a page with more than 320
members.
Every day Christy posts updates such as this one:
"This is a plea from Chasity’s mom and dad. Please if anyone knows of
her whereabouts, please contact us. You can even call anonymously. Just
let us know of her whereabouts and that she is safe. She is missed more
than words can say and loved more than she could ever know. My number
is 281-813-9133. Please help find our baby girl."
And just in case Chasity might try to call, Christy has this outgoing
message on her cell phone:
"Hi baby girl, this is your mom. Please come home. We are worried to
death about you. We just want you home sweetheart. Please, please just
come home or call me and let me know you’re OK. Please? I love you so
much."

Re: CHASITY ARMSTRONG - 17 yo - Katy (W of Houston) TX
Chasity Armstrong is back home in Katy with her family.
On April 16, Chasity, 17, did not get off the school bus at her usual
stop.
The Langham Creek High School teenager was missing, setting off an
intense search by her family.
Police had listed Chasity as a runaway, although her stepmother
Christy Armstrong believed that was most definitely not the case.
The family cannot yet speak about the details of Chasity’s absence,
as charges may be pending.
For now, though, Christy said, “Chasity is very happy to be home. We
missed her so much.”
