"Kuwait citizen Eman and her family were vacationing in Kissimmee,
Florida when Eman was left alone at the house where they were staying.
Upon her family's return, Eman was missing," the police said.
The Kuwaiti embassy in Washington on Saturday confirmed that a
Kuwaiti teen has been missing for two days in the US.
The embassy said that it was exerting outstanding efforts and
coordinating with the authorities in Kissimmee, Florida, where the
15-year-old girl went missing and in North Platte, Nebraska, where she
is believed to have gone.
The embassy has already contacted Kuwaiti students in Nebraska to
find out whether they had any idea about where the 15-year-old student might be.

This photo released by authorities Thursday shows 15-year-old Eman
Mohammad Alsayegh. Investigators believe the missing teen may be in or
around the North Platte area.

The Kuwaiti foreign ministry and the US state department have been
alerted about the teen's disappearance, the embassy said.
According to a release by the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department,
Florida authorities have alerted the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office of a
missing teen that they believe may be in North Platte.
"Kuwait citizen Eman and her family were vacationing in Kissimmee,
Florida when Eman was left alone at the house where they were staying.
Upon her family's return, Eman was missing," the police said.
Kissimmee Law Enforcement Officials tracked Eman to a local bus
station where she boarded a bus for Omaha, Nebraska, and requested a
ticket to North Platte.
"She told bus terminal employees that she has family in North Platte
and the family says they have no family or friends in the United States."
The police said there was great concern over the young girl's
disappearance because it is feared that Eman travelled to North Platte
to meet people with whom she had been speaking online.
"Eman speaks very good English, but has an accent," the police said.
Eman is 5'4" tall, has short black hair and brown eyes. Her last
known clothing is unknown at this time, the police said.

A runaway 15-year-old Kuwaiti girl has been located in
McCook.The
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday that Eman Mohammed
Alsayegh was recovered in the home of a 16-year-old McCook boy and his
mother. Alsayegh, on vacation in the United States with her family,
absconded from Kissimmee, Florida on July 11.
Authorities
tracked her to Omaha, and it was initially believed that Alsayegh would
make her way to North Platte.
Authorities now say
that she met the young man in an internet chat room. Their relationship
progressed to personal emails and phone calls. Ultimately, Alsayegh
arranged for the boy to pick her up in Omaha. She had been staying with
the family for about a week at the time of her discovery, according to
LCSO.
It is unclear how the young woman explained
her presence in McCook to the boy’s mother, or how long she intended to
stay. A call to the McCook Police Department has not been returned.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation office in North
Platte said that the matter is still being investigated and they could
not comment at this time.
A relative of the boy’s
family saw a missing person flier with Eman’s photo and contacted the
family, LCSO reported. The family then notified McCook police.
LCSO also stated that both the FBI and McCook PD
interviewed the family and discovered no “foul play.”
The Red Willow Sheriff’s Office transported Alsayegh to a
juvenile holding facility, where she will be reunited with her family.
The search involved local, state, and federal
authorities. Lincoln County Sheriff Jerome Kramer said, “We are all
lucky Eman was not enticed to Nebraska by a child predator. The incident
appears to be relatively innocent and the young girl will be reunited
with her family as quickly as possible.”
“Young
adults and parents must exercise extreme caution when communicating on
the internet and should refrain from talking with strangers. You never
know where the world wide web will take you or who it will hook you up
with,” he concluded.
