New Britain CT ---- Police are asking the public’s assistance in finding a 16-year-old city girl who has been missing since May.


Brenda
Gonzalez, 16, who is 5-foot, 4-inches tall weighing about 150 pounds,
has been reported missing since May 17, according to police.

The white/Hispanic teen has brown hair and brown eyes, according to a description supplied by police.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call police at (860) 826-3000.

Police Report Safe Recovery For Brenda Gonzalez


Officer Douglas Morton is thankful that his sleepless nights trying to crack the case have paid off in the safe recovery of 15-year-old Brenda Gonzalez. He says during his 16 years on the job, this case worried him the most. Officer Morton says there wasn't a trail for him to follow, but Brenda managed to make her way back to her home in Manchester, Conn. on her own.
