MICHAEL GLENNON - 17 yo/Mentally challenged - Visalia (SE of Fresno) CA
Visalia police are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing teenage group-home resident.
Michael Glennon, 17, was last seen near Houston Avenue and Lovers Lane about 2 p.m. Sunday, police said.
Michael stands 6 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs about 168 pounds.
He has brown hair and hazel eyes.
He has autistic tendencies and suffers from mental-health issues, police said.
He does not have his medication or prescription glasses with him.
Anyone with information on the teenager's whereabouts is asked to call Visalia police at (559) 734-8117

Visalia police are searching for an autistic teenager who disappeared from his west Visalia group home Thursday night.
Michael Glennon stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 168 pounds, sports a unique brown
Mohawk-style haircut and has hazel-colored eyes, Visalia police report."He
looks normal, but has mental-health issues," said Visalia police Sgt.
Gary Williams, elaborating on the 17-year-old's condition. "He left the
group home before about three weeks ago and was found in Goshen."Visalia
police Sgt. Paul Esquibel, heading up the search for the boy, said
Glennon disappeared from a group home in the area of Demaree Street and
Whitendale Avenue about 7:30 p.m. Thursday.Esquibel
described Glennon as a "high-functioning borderline autistic." He is a
special-education student in Visalia. He came to Visalia in May from
another part of the state."He's
fine as long as he is taking his medication," Esquibel said. "He's able
to carry a conversation with people — apparently he's pretty
high-functioning."Police don't believe that Glennon has any friends or relatives in the area.Glennon doesn't have any tattoos. "His hair might be a little longer than it is in the [most current] picture," Esquibel said.

An autistic 17-year-old boy who disappeared from a Visalia group home Thursday night has been found in Riverside County.
Michael
Glennon, a student at Riverbend School, left his group home at about 7
p.m. Thursday night and hopped a freight train in Goshen bound for
Southern California, Visalia Police Department spokesman Sgt. Gary
Williams said.Glennon's mother lives in Riverside County, Williams said.He
was picked up by the Riverside County Sheriff's Department the next day
and returned to his family. Williams said he was found in good health.The family didn't notify authorities in Visalia Glennon had been found. Police searched for the teen throughout the weekend."We didn't know he had been found until we called his mother to follow up this morning," Williams said.This
was the second time the high-functioning autistic had left his group
home since he was placed in Visalia last spring. In August he
disappeared for three days and was found in Goshen."He may have been trying to jump on a freight train at that time, too," Williams said.Glennon is just a few months shy of his 18th birthday. Williams said there are no plans for the teen to return to Visalia.
