BROOKE DANIELLE BRISTOL - 16 yo - Belding (NE of Grand Rapids) MI
Police are asking for help in finding Brooke Danielle Bristol, 16, of Belding,
who was reported as a runaway on July 16.
Bristol's mother told Belding Police that her daughter had not
returned home to her father's residence in Saranac on July 24, after
going to Ionia with friends.
When her parents discovered that she had not returned, they started
checking with the girl's friends. After their efforts were exhausted,
they reported Brooke as a runaway to the police department.
Pictures of Brooke have been circulated in the local area
and reports to the Belding Police Department have been followed up.
The reports have been credible but have not led to her return.
One tipster actually reported that they had talked to Bristol on
July 31, and tried to encourage her to return home.
The NATIONAL CENTER for MISSING and EXPLOITED CHILDREN will also
be circulating information through their network.
Belding Police request that if you have seen Brooke Bristol or have
any information relating to her to contact the Belding Police Department
at (616) 794-1900 ext. 226

First of all
I want to thank everyone so muuch for thier support and kindness.
Second just to update we still have not found her or even heard from
her. We continue to follow leads and search. Belding has her listed as a
runaway and the National center for missing and exploited children have
her listed as an endangered runaway. Elisabeth I cant thank you enough
for doing this story you really helped so much by doing this, if it
wasnt for your help I would still be feeling completely hopeless in
trying to get help. Ionia county mental health and child protective
services have even been urging the police to take this more seriously
due to Brookes impairments but they still say she doesnt meet the
requriements for an amber alert. It was a battle to get a report filed
in the first place due to jurisdictional issues and cps and officer
Dave Thomas got together and got it done. I cannot thank everyone enough
for all they have done and all their support you could never know how
much it means. God Bless you all
