DANIELLE BROOKE WADE - 15 yo - Floyd (SW of Roanoke) VA

The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office, family and
friends are looking for a missing teen. Danielle Brooke Wade, 15, was
last seen at her home along the Blue Ridge Parkway in Floyd.
The last contact the family had with her was on Monday night at 8:30
when she was talking on her cell phone and went outside.
A search dog was brought to the property. A relative reported the dog followed her scent down the driveway to where it
meets the Parkway, and “they lost the scent” at the edge of the
driveway.



Danielle, who is 5’7” tall and weighs about 123 pounds, has dark
blond/brown hair and blue eyes. Posters with her picture have been put
up around the county. She was wearing blue jeans when she was last seen.
Investigator Brian Craig is handling the case. He announced
Tuesday, “We’re keeping every option open (in the investigation). My
main concern is finding this young lady and making sure she’s safe and
OK.” He added that she didn’t meet the criteria to put out an Amber
Alert.
The mother, Janice Meeks, and family said they would appreciate
everyone’s prayers for Danielle’s safe return home.

An East Franklin man and woman were jailed Thursday on $100,000 bail
on state police accusations that they concealed the whereabouts of a
15-year-old teen reported missing in Virginia.

Edward Lee Bracken, 25, and Regina Lynn Powell, 29, both of 20
Lindenwood Drive, were arraigned Thursday on charges of concealment of
the whereabouts of a child and unlawful contact with a minor.

State police said they found the female teen at the Lindenwood Drive
residence at about 10 p.m. Thursday. The suspects told police that they
met the teen on the Internet and then traveled to Virginia on Tuesday
and brought the girl back to Armstrong County after she told Bracken and
Powell that she didn't want to go home.

An Armstrong County man and woman have been arrested on charges they met
with a 15-year-old girl in Virginia and brought her back to
Pennsylvania.Police said 35-year-old Edward Bracken met the girl
on the Internet, then arranged to meet her in person in Floyd, Va., on
June 15. The two spent the night at a campsite, without the permission
of the girl's mother, police said.Police said the next day,
29-year-old Regina Powell helped drive the teen back to the Armstrong
County apartment she shared with Bracken.Police said the girl was
listed as missing by the Floyd County Sheriff's Department and when
officers learned where she was, troopers were sent to Bracken and
Powell's apartment.Family service workers took custody of the
girl until she could be reunited with her mother.Both Bracken and
Powell are facing charges of having unlawful contact with a minor and
were placed in the Armstrong County Jail on $100,000 bond.
