JACKSON MILLER - 4 Months - Schaumburg IL
A Schaumburg father picked up his 3 1/2-month-old son from day care today and has not been seen since, missing a doctor's appointment and remaining unavailable by cell phone, police said.
Chris Miller, 29, had taken a larger amount of breast milk and diapers than would have been needed for the rest of the day, according to his wife, and police said there's a possibility the father and son are en route to his family in Louisville, Ky., in a 2003 black VW Beetle with Illinois license plate of L324339.At this point police do not believe the child, Jackson Miller, is in danger, and have not sought an Amber Alert in the case yet, said Schaumburg Police Sgt. John Nebl. However, the information has been entered into the LEADS police information system.Officials had no indication that there were problems in the family and it is not considered a child-custody case, but it was very unusual for Miller to not be in contact with his wife and police want to make sure of the safety of the two, Nebl said.Anyone with information is asked to call Schaumburg police at 847-882-3586.

We had 2 topics going so have merged them. I hope he hasn't taken off with the baby because there was something he didn't want the doctor to discover. Sorry but after all the cases we read here every day I have a very suspicious mind.

Re: JACKSON MILLER - 4 Months - Schaumburg IL
A father and infant son who were reported missing in Schaumburg Wednesday were found safe Friday morning. Their vehicle was spotted by a passerby as it was exiting Interstate 55 in Bolingbrook.
Christopher Miller, 29, had been heading out of state with his 3 1/2-month-old son, Jackson, police sources said.
Pellettiere, Miller’s wife, called Schaumburg police about 5 p.m. Wednesday to report that her husband had picked Jackson up from day care but then missed a doctor’s appointment and wasn’t at home when she returned that evening. She said that more diapers and breast milk than was needed for an afternoon trip were missing.
Police never suspected Jackson was in danger, and never issued an Amber Alert for him. The couple is not going through a divorce or custody dispute, nor did they have any apparent domestic troubles, Sgt. John Nebl said Thursday, according to the Tribune.
Authorities continue to question the man to determine why he took the boy.
