Missing boy wanted to avoid discipline for not doing homework, police say

That’s why he left his home, on the 2000 block of Blayton Circle, at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, according to police.Now, Vickers’ mother has reported the 11-year-old as missing.Police said he has left home before – in 2007 – but they don’t have any reports of him running away recently.Vickers is described as black, 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing 135 lbs. We never knew this kid was found last time, but it looks like was and then recently ran away again and has been found again.

ATLANTA -- Atlanta police have located the 11-year-old boy that went missing Tuesday afternoon.Wesley Vickers has been returned home to his parents, safe and sound.Vickers went missing Tuesday near Woodson Elementary School on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway in northwest Atlanta.No details have been released on where Vickers was located.

There was one article headed "Mentally Challenged Boy Found" and it referred to his dificulties in the article. A minute later the article had changed the headline and taken out any reference to that, but of course the original headline can still be seen on google. I think perhaps in this case he has behavioral issues outside the norm. They need to find an answer to dealing with him though because whatever they do now isn't working!
