It's been a terrible Christmas for Angie Brown and her family. She
hasn't seen her 19-year old son, J.J. Willman since Thanksgiving. He
went missing two days later.
Now with the help of Regions Bank, Brown has started a reward fund
with hopes someone with information on where J.J. is or what happened to
him will tell police what they know.Anyone who wants to contribute to the reward for information on J.J.
can go to any Regions Bank and give any amount of money to the James
Robert Willman III Missing Persons Fund.
Checks can also be mailed to Regions Bank at 4706 S. Kingshighway, St. Louis, MO 63109.

Help Find Missing Woodson Terrace Teen

James "J.J." Willman is the kind of person who puts everyone else's feelings
before his own, says his father, Jim Willman. The 19-year-old from
Woodson Terrace has been missing since Nov. 27, when he didn't show up
for his early shift at McDonald's in Earth City.
"I knew something was wrong the moment he didn't show up to work and didn't
respond to my calls or texts," the elder Willman tells the Daily RFT.
This Saturday, family and friends of J.J. Willman are hosting an all-day
benefit with bands to raise cash for a reward, and possibly to hire a
private investigator, at the Pine Room Bar & Restaurant at 1102
Perry Street in St. Charles from 10 a.m. until 1 a.m. Sunday.
In the weeks that J.J. Willman has been missing, police have found
his car in North St. Louis with its plates removed, and identified and
cleared a person of interest in the case.
"He's still missing and we're still working on it," Chief Bob Dowling of the Woodson Terrace Police tells the Daily RFT. "We've had somebody working on it every day. The longer he's gone, the more concerned we are for his welfare."
Jim Willman and his friends, family and supporters have plastered the area
with handbills bearing the young man's face and urging anyone with
information to call the Woodson Terrace police. They've gotten bumper
stickers, T-shirts and bracelets made, and there was a billboard on
I-170 for a time.
If you have any information, call Woodson Terrace police at (314) 427-5858.

Oh no
Body is that of missing teen; authorities suspect murder
James Robert Willman of Woodson Terrace.
WOODSON TERRACE • The body of a young man found
over the weekend was identified by police on Sunday as that of
19-year-old James Robert Willman, known as JJ, who had been missing
since November.
The body was found in a conservation area off Columbia Bottoms
Road on Saturday, about two miles from where Willman's abandoned
car was found at a rest stop off Interstate 270. The car had been
located five days after Willman was reported missing on Nov.27.
Authorities said Willman appeared to have been murdered, but
they did not say how he had died.
Willman's father, also named James Robert Willman, said Sunday
night that he and the rest of the family had braced for hearing the
bad news after the body was found Saturday. Identification was made
through dental records, authorities said.
"We're sad, but we're relieved that his body was found," JJ's
father said. "He was a great guy. It's just not going to be the
same without him."
He credited the work of Woodson Terrace police with developing
leads that led to the body and said he had hope that the killer
would be found.
Willman came home late on Nov. 26 or early Nov. 27, when his
father last spoke with him. His father has previously said that his
son seemed anxious that night because his cell phone kept ringing
and someone was sending him texts.
JJ Willman did not show up for his scheduled shift Nov. 27 at a
McDonald's restaurant in Earth City, and his family reported him
missing the next day.
Police later found his car, a 1995 teal-colored Buick Regal,
near the Mississippi River in north St. Louis. The license plates
had been removed.
The family held two vigils after he disappeared, one at the
Solid Rock Ministries Church in Fenton and another at the Woodson
Terrace City Park.

Re: JAMES 'JJ' WILLMAN - 19 yo (2010)/ Convicted: Keith Meiners - Woodson Terrace MO
(KMOV)-- A teen has been charged in the beating death of a Woodson Terrace teen.
Keith Meiners, 19, was charged with First Degree Murder.
Authorities said that witnesses allegedly saw Meiners beating
19-year-old J.J. Willman. Meiners allegedly admitted to witnesses that
he caused the death of Willman. Meiners was arrested Monday afternoon.
Willman went missing around Thanksgiving last year after attending a
party in North County. His body was recovered earlier this month in the
Missouri Bottom Conservation area.
Police said Meiners knew Willman because both teens dated the same girl.
"They did know each other, they had a common girlfriend. They didn't
date at the same time. She was an old girlfriend of J.J.'s or a current
girlfriend of Mr. Meiners," said Woodson Terrace Police Chief Bob
Dowling.
Meiners is currently held in the St. Louis County Jail.
Police are still investigating whether anyone else was involved in the murder.http://www.kmov.com/news/crime/Woodson-Terrace-police-make-arrest-in-murder-of-missing-teen-118864049.html

I'm thinking they may be mates of Keith Meiners seeing as they witnessed the murder and are not willing witnesses as they possibly played their part in it too. This is probably a case of a bunch of guys - Keith and his buddies - deciding to hunt down Keith's girlfriends ex and 'do him'.mermaid55 wrote:My goodness! What took so long for these witnesses to come forward?

Kevin Held
CLAYTON, Mo. (KSDK) - A St. Louis County jury convicted a 21-year-old Thursday for the November 2010 murder of an Overland man.
Prosecutors said Keith Meiners beat 19-year-old J.J. Willman and then duct taped him and left him in a field in a state conservation area off Columbia Bottoms Road. Willman's vehicle was discovered abandoned at a rest stop off Interstate 270 at Riverview Boulevard. His body was located several days later after an intense search.
Meiners is believed to have beaten Willman to death after an argument over a woman infected with a sexually transmitted disease.
Family members first notified police of J.J. Willman's disappearance when he failed to show up at work.
Keither Meiners was convicted of second-degree murder and sentenced to 25 years in prison. He'll be eligible for parole after serving more than 21 years.
