BRITTANY McGRATH - 14 yo - Kingman (E of Bullhead City) AZ
A missing Kingman teen has turned up, her mother said Friday.
Brittany McGrath, 14, showed up at the home of her father Aaron Dec. 23, Amy McGrath said.
The teen had run away late Dec. 12 or just after midnight Dec. 13.
After
searching the Kingman area for Brittany for more than a week, McGrath
believed that her daughter might have traveled to the Bullhead City
area.
Friday, she said she believed the girl was in Kingman the whole time.
“She said she was staying in abandoned houses,” McGrath said. “We haven’t gotten the truth out of her yet.”
The
teen had been staying with her mother before running away. Brittany,
apparently upset about several issues, including plans to move the
household to Colorado, said she’ll run away again if the move takes
place, her mother said.
For the time being, McGrath said,
Brittany will temporarily continue to stay at her father’s house. The
move to Colorado, which McGrath said was for a job and to get Brittany
away from negative influences, has been delayed.
McGrath said
while Brittany was missing, she and other teens were suspected to have
been involved in a liquor store theft and car accident and the teen has
to face related criminal charges.
