Authorities searching for missing Snyder mother and daughter

Authorities say they are looking for a mother and daughter that were last seen in Colorado City.

Brittany Hill, 23, and her daughter, Khloe Wheeler, 2 -- both Snyder
residents -- were last seen while visiting relatives in Colorado City
around 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, said Snyder Police Chief Terry Luecke.

Mitchell County officials have described Hill as being
five-foot-seven inches tall, with dark red and black hair. She is
reported to have a piercing in her nose and lip.

Wheeler has brown hair and brown eyes, officials say.

Hill drives a blue and grey 2002 Toyota Highlander, Luecke said. Two
decals are located on the back of the Highlander. One is reported to be a
cross sticker and another says "In Memory of Jessica Castillo," officials said.

"So far we have not located her car," said Luecke. "At this point we
don't know if they're in any danger. We don't have any direct knowledge about that."

Authorities continue to search for missing Snyder woman and toddler 5/25/12

Colorado City, TX – Authorities continue their search for a missing Snyder woman and her 2-year-old daughter.

Colorado City police say 23-year-old Brittany Hill and her
2-year-old daughter Khloe Wheeler were last seen on Tuesday visiting
family in Colorado City.

"We’ve got some speculation that 1 or 2
other people may have seen her between then and Wednesday, we haven't
been able to prove that yet," claims Colorado City Police Chief Roy
Owens.

In addition to the mother and daughter, authorities have
been unable to locate Brittany’s boyfriend, 21-year-old Rosendo
Gonzales.

Chief Owens says on Monday, Brittany was treated at
Cogdell Memorial hospital in Snyder after Gonzales assaulted her. She
suffered a concussion and needed 5 stitches on her upper lip. Police say
knowing this couples violent history; their number one priority is
finding 2-year-old Khloe safely. Chief Owens says the couple has a
history of abuse and both were known to use drugs.

"What we're concerned more than anything about is the 2 year old child," Owens explains.

That's why area law enforcement isn't wasting any time to locate the mother and daughter.

"The
more ears and eyes we can get on this the better,” Owen explains.
“Somebody, somewhere, have you seen this person or these people?"

Police say they are working with the Mitchell County Sheriffs
Office, several special investigators and they are also receiving some
assistance from the Texas Rangers.

They spent today meeting with family members, including 2-year-old Khloe’s father who lives in Colorado City.

Hill is described as 5’7”with brown hair and brown eyes. She has
several piercings on her face and a tattoo of leopard spots on her arm.
Her 2-year-old daughter, Khloe, also has brown hair and brown eyes. The
two were last seen in a 2002 blue Toyota Highlander minivan.

Gonzales is a Hispanic male, about 6’1” with brown hair and brown eyes.

If LE knows these two have a violent history & drug history then why was this precious baby even with the mother? I get so sick & tired of LE and Childrens services knowing this shit but still leave the kids in the volatile situation, it's time people started doing their jobs, even if it means sticking their necks out. Maybe we wouldn't have so many children in the graveyards if they did.

Missing Mother And 2-Year-Old Daughter Found

ABILENE, Texas -- Authorities have
found 23-year-old Brittany Hill and her daughter 2-year-old Khloe
Wheeler. Hill's boyfriend, 21-year-old Rosendo Gonzales was found with
them.

According to The Colorado City Police Department, at 6 p.m.
Brittany Hill, Khloe Wheeler and Rosendo Gonzales were located, and are
safe.

Information was obtained through a source by Investigator
Kelsey Alexander that Brittany Hill and Rosendo Gonzales had stolen a
credit card.The card was traced to a location in Galveston,
Texas.

Using cell phone pings, it was learned that Brittany Hill, Khloe
Wheeler and Rosendo Gonzales were traveling northbound on Interstate
45, toward Houston, Texas.

They continued monitoring of cell
phone pings, which allowed investigators to narrow down the location of
Hill, Wheeler and Gonzales.

The Colorado City Police Department
and Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office worked with the 32nd Judicial
District Attorney’s Office, members of the Texas Department of Public
Safety, Snyder Police Department and many others.

Mitchell County
authorities were searching for the boyfriend, along with her 2-year-old
daughter, who went missing from Colorado City on Wednesday.21-year-old Rosendo Gonzales was the last known person to have seen Brittany Hill, 23, and her daughter, Khloe Wheeler.

Police say the missing Snyder woman, her boyfriend and her 2 year old
daughter have been located. According to Colorado City Police they used
cell phone "pings" to narrow down the location of Hill, Wheeler and
Gonzales. As of 6 pm today, police say the three were found and are
safe. No further information has been released at this time.

Colorado
City, TX - Colorado City Police tell us they met with an informant this
morning who notified police of stolen credit cards that may be tracked.
Police have tracked transactions made by the cards, last used near
Galveston, Texas.

Police have also been tracking Hill's cell
phone. They say it was turned on today and is in a vehicle traveling
north toward Dallas on I-45. Police say they do not know who is in the
car but hope Brittany and her daughter are okay.

Colorado City Police tell us they will keep us informed throughout the day.
