Police are appealing for information as they search for a north-west Tasmanian teenager who left his home last night.
Joshua Norman Scheers, 14, is thought to be on a red mountain bike and wearing jeans and a dark top.
Police are searching around Devonport, Sheffield and the Nook Road area.


Inspector Mark Johnston says anyone who might have seen him should phone the Devonport Police Station.
"Given that he's been out for quite some time at this stage we are concerned," he said.
"Weather conditions are pretty good up here at the moment but we are
concerned given that we've got no indication of where he's gone.
Inspector Johnston says police are investigating two possible sightings of the boy at Kimberley, east of Sheffield.
"We're concerned he may not realise the conditions he will face in terms of cold," he said.
"He may not want us to find him, but he is going to spend a cold night if he is still out there."
Police and the SES will resume the search in the morning if he fails to show up overnight.

Joshua Norman Scheers: LOCATED

Following contact from a member of the public, missing 14 year old boy Sheffield boy Joshua Norman SCHEERS was located by Devonport Police on Victoria Parade Devonport at 8am this morning.

Joshua was found to be in good health and is currently enjoying breakfast at the Devonport Police Station. He will shortly be re-united with his parents.

“The public response to our appeal for information relating to Joshua’s disappearance has been significant and instrumental in locating him. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all members of the public who contacted police to provide information” Inspector SHADBOLT said.
