Casey Anthony: How do you keep the imaginary people straight?

What a bizarre afternoon in the Casey Anthony trial!
Anthony liked to talk about imaginary people, and that made watching this afternoon’s questioning of mother Cindy Anthony quite strange.
WOFL-Channel 35 anchor Bob Frier listed the people that Casey made up. “How do you keep all of these people straight?” Frier said. “It’s one thing to make up a nanny, but to make up an entire cast of characters … amazing.”
WOFL’s Shannon Butler said, “It’s exhausting just to hear about it, Bob, let alone try to keep the stories straight.”
WFTV-Channel 9 legal analyst Bill Sheaffer said that defense attorney Jose Baez had adopted a different tempo in questioning Cindy Anthony. Sheaffer highlighted that Baez tried to stress how Casey and Cindy are alike to win some sympathy for the defendant.
WKMG-Channel 6’s Mike DeForest said Baez was trying paint the Anthony family as dysfunctional.
WESH-Channel 2 anchor Jim Payne found it “kind of surreal” that the defense asked Cindy to look at her daughter, who stood so her mother could inspect her.
The revelation that Cindy Anthony kept looking for Zanny the nanny “is a little hard to believe,” said Judge O.H. Eaton Jr., who offers analysis for WESH. “That is a problem for her credibility,” Eaton added.
It has been a surreal afternoon.
Cindy Anthony said this afternoon that the family had lost money during the case. She revealed that she had paid former attorney Brad Conway $6,000 from $20,000 that the Anthonys received from licensing photos and video to CBS News. Cindy said she paid bills with the other money. Conway also tried to arrange a book deal for the Anthonys, Cindy said.
But Cindy Anthony said the family has no negotiations with any media outlets about future projects.
