Amber Alert has been issued for 1-year-old Jayden Martinez, who was
abducted from a Winter Garden home overnight -- Sunday, April 14, 2013.

WINTER GARDEN -- An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing 1-year-old Winter Garden boy.

The alert was issued Sunday morning for Jayden Martinez.

Orange County deputies said the boy was reported missing by his mother around 4 a.m. Sunday from a home on Summer Street near E. Cypress Street.

Jeff Williamson, a spokesman with the sheriff's office, said there were signs of forced entry at the home.

The child is 2 feet tall, weighs 30 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue octopus pajamas.

Detectives said they have been unable to contact Jayden's father, Carlos Martinez. He is not considered a suspect in this case, but is asked to call 911 or Crimeline at (800) 423-TIPS.

Dogs from both the Winter Garden Police Department and sheriff's office are assisting in the search.

There is no vehicle description at this time, Williamson said.

WINTER GARDEN, Fla. —The search for a missing toddler in Winter Garden ended Sunday afternoon.

An Amber Alert was issued for Jayden Martinez, 1, who authorities said was believed to have been kidnapped from a home in Orange County.

Investigators said the boy's mother found Jayden missing from the home about 4 a.m.

Authorities surrounded the area, and an intense search was launched to find the boy.

Jayden was found about 12:30 p.m. and officials said he is OK.

Deputies said they were looking to speak with the child's father, Carlos Martinez, but it's not known if they were able to find him.

WINTER GARDEN, Fla. - An Amber Alert was canceled Sunday after a missing 1-year-old Winter Garden boy who was apparently abducted from a home and found safe.

Jayden Martinez was reported missing around 4 a.m. Sunday from a home on East Summer Street, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies went to the house and said they discovered that someone had forced their way into the home and Jayden was missing.

A massive search, including the use of K-9s, was conducted in the area.

Deputies said the father, Carlos Martinez had custody of the child, who was safely returned to his mother.

Deputies said the case will be turned over to the State Attorney's office and no charges have been filed.

Deputies said there has been an on-going custody dispute between the mother and the father.
