An Amber Alert has been issued for a one-year-old girl who was abducted today on St. Lawrence Ave in the Bronx at about 1 p.m.
Giavonna Vizard is a black female with brown hair and brown eyes.
She is two feet tall and weighs 30 pounds, and was last seen wearing
light blue jeans, a long sleeved pink striped shirt, black Air Jordan
sneakers, and a black Rocawear bubble coat.

The suspect, 13-year-old Lisa Keitt, is said to be a chronic runaway
and took Vizard from a relative's home after a domestic dispute.
Keitt is a light-skinned black female with brown hair and brown
eyes. She is about five feet, three inches tall and weighs 115 pounds.
Keitt was last seen wearing black stretch pants, a black zip-up
sweatshirt, white and purple sneakers, and a long black bubble coat.

The NYPD has activated the New York State AMBER Alert because of a
confirmed child abduction that happened in the Bronx Tuesday afternoon,
officials said. Giavonna Vizard, 20 months old, was at home at
630 St. Lawrence Avenue with her mother and her visiting aunt, a
teenager, Tuesday, police said. During the visit, Giavonna's mother left the room. When she came back, both were gone, along with the baby's jacket. Police are asking for the public's help in finding 13-year-old Lisa Kett, who has vanished from her Soundview home. Lisa was last seen on Monday, at 11:30 a.m. leaving her home on Saint Lawrence Avenue near Randall Avenue. She is 5-3 and 110 pounds. She was last seen wearing a pink-and-white-striped sweatshirt, blue pants and Converse sneakers.

A desperate search for a 20-month-old Bronx baby ended happily Tuesday night when the infant was found with a troubled 13-year-old aunt who snatched her, cops said."This is our Christmas present. Christmas came early for us," said the baby's dad, Cyrus Smith, 23, as he walked out of the 43rd Precinct stationhouse early this morning cradling the girl in his arms."I'm overjoyed," said Ashley Vizard, the mother.Mom and dad rode in an ambulance with their baby, Giavonna, to Jacobi Medical Center so the child could be examined. She appeared to be fine."This is a happy ending. We're glad we got the baby. She looks really confused, but she looks okay," said grandmother, Lisa Ferdico, 41, "No bumps, no bruises, no scratches."Little Giavonna was abducted about 1p.m. by Lisa Keitt, who showed up at her sister's Soundview house after running away from a youth group home, police and family said.An Amber Alert was issued for the baby, who was found in Queens just after 11 p.m. with Keitt, cops said.Details of how cops tracked down Giavonna and Keitt were not immediately released. But cops said the baby was not harmed.Smith

Vizard, for calling the police on the teen Monday when she first showed
up at their doorstep after bolting from the group home.Keitt was taken back to the home, only to run away again Tuesday."She did this to hurt us," Smith said of Keitt, who arrived at the Saint Lawrence Ave. home Tuesday with two friends.Smith said he was taking a shower and Ashley Vizard had briefly stepped into another room when Keitt grabbed Giavonna and fled."In a blink of an eye, my daughter was gone," Smith said.

Three teenage girls have been charged in the kidnapping of a
one-year-old girl, who was found safe yesterday, hours after she had
been reported missing. Police say Shawnice Reese and Jenny
Dominique are both 16 years old. A 13 year old, believed to be Lisa
Keitt was also arrested.They are charged with kidnapping, reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child. Keitt is the aunt of one-year-old Giavonna Vizard.Police issued an Amber alert after the child went missing.Investigators
say Keitt and her two friends took her niece from the baby's home on
Saint Lawrence Avenue in Soundview around 1 p.m. yesterday. The Amber alert was cancelled after Giavonna was found shortly after 11 last night. She is now with her parents and has been taken to Jacobi Hospital for a medical evaluation.

The teenager who was arrested for allegedly kidnapping her one-year old niece is reportedly facing felony charges.Lisa Keitt, 13, is accused of taking Giovanna Vizard to a friend's home in Brooklyn for 10 hours on Wednesday.According to the Daily News, Keitt ran away from a Queens youth facility before showing up at her sister's Soundview home.Her mother told the News her daughter's actions were a cry for help and the family is asking for leniency.She's due back in court on Wednesday.An Amber alert was issued when Vizard went missing.Two other teens were arrested. Shawnice Reese and Jenny Dominique, both 16, also face kidnapping charges.
