A 3 month old baby girl is still recovering after police say her dad
broke her ribs, and fractured her arms. 24 year old Matthew Simmons is
in Rock Island County jail, charged with child abuse. Officers say the
Colona man beat the baby up several times. The girl's grandparents are
now taking care of her. The infant is expected to be OK.
