Colorado Springs police are asking residents for help finding a
missing 14-year-old girl.
Alyssa Smith was last seen by her parents at 9 p.m. Tuesday at her
house in the 1500 block of W. Colorado Ave.
Authorities said they
believe she left the house on her own accord, and she was reported
missing the following morning.
The disappearance comes after an incident the last week of class at
West Middle School that left her “emotionally distraught,” according to
police.
Alyssa, who is 5-foot-4, 145 pounds with red hair and green eyes, was
last wearing a black, short-sleeved t-shirt and multicolored flip-flops
and black shorts with a white stripe.
Anyone with information on Alyssa’s whereabouts can call 444-7000.

Police are asking for the

police say Alyssa left her house. It's believed she left her house on
her own, but her family thinks she may be distraught over an incident at

Alyssa is a white female, 5’-4”
tall, 145 pounds, with red hair that is just above the shoulders in
length, and green eyes.
CSPD reports Alyssa was last
wearing a black, short-sleeved T-shirt, black shorts with a white stripe
on the side, and multi-colored flip flops.
Because of her emotional state,
investigators are asking for help finding her.

A 14-year-old girl missing from Colorado Springs since last Wednesday has been found in Chaffee County.
The Colorado Springs Police Department was contacted by the Chaffee
County Sheriff's Office early Monday morning and informed that Alyssa
Smith was found near Salida. She was taken to a medical facility in
Chaffee County for an examination.
A detective from CSPD has been sent to Chaffee County to assist with the investigation into what happened to Alyssa.
