LAMOURY BRYANT - 9 yo - Washington DC

An Amber Alert was issued Tuesday night for a 9-year-old girl who was
reported abducted in the District, according to D.C. police and a
missing-children Web site.

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children Web site
said Lamoury Bryant was abducted Tuesday along with a second girl and
Karen Johnson, 39, of Southeast.

D. C. police said the three were abducted about 6 p.m. in the 5100
block of Fitch Street SE. The second girl was released, police said.

According to the Web site, authorities were looking for Lamont
Johnson, 49, who was described as black, 5 feet 9, and 200 pounds. The
suspect was last seen wearing a red baseball cap, white tank top, and
blue jeans, the site said.

He was in a cream and white Chrysler 300, with a Maryland tag 4GAX63,
according to the Web site.

The girl was described as black and wearing a green shirt, jean
skirt, and flip flops.

D.C. police said the man may have had a relationship of an
unspecified nature with Johnson, who may be the mother of the two
girls.

They said the second girl called police after being released in
Maryland.

Authorities said the man should be considered armed They asked anyone
locating him or the others to contact the Metropolitan Police
Department at 202-727-9099 or 911 or local authorities.

A 9-year-old girl and a woman abducted with her from the District on
Tuesday were found safe Tuesday night after an Amber Alert was issued,
D.C. police said.

They were located in New York, according to D.C. police spokeswoman
Gwen Crump.
