Ark. State Police Issue Amber Alert For 8-Month-Old Boy



LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Arkansas State Police in Little Rock have issued a Morgan Nick Amber Alert for Raymond Moore, Jr.
Moore is an 8-month-old black male. He has short brown curly hair and brown eyes. Moore was last seen wearing blue jeans, a brown shirt with orange and white stripes and brown shoes.
Police said the child's father, Raymond Moore, Sr., took him at gunpoint Monday night in Little Rock.
Police said Moore, Sr. is 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white T-shirt and a black hoodie. He might be wearing a wig.
Police said Moore, Sr. has an active murder warrant out of the Little Rock Police Department.

Police ask anyone with information to call 911.

Alert issued after child taken at gunpoint


LITTLE ROCK — A Morgan Nick Amber Alert has been issued after an infant was taken at gunpoint Monday.
Raymond Moore Jr. is described as 7 months old, black, 1-foot-6-inches tall and weighing 22 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
Police believe Moore was taken by his father, Raymond Moore Sr., who is wanted on a capital murder warrant.
Little Rock Police Department spokesman Lt. Terry Hastings said the child was taken from 5111 W. 22nd St. around 11:20 p.m. Monday. Police found the vehicle Moore Sr. left in about two hours later at 1408 S. Monroe St., but the resident there reportedly did not provide any information about what happened.
That resident - identified by police as Miguel Boyd - was also the driver when Moore Sr. left with the boy, Hastings said in a statement. Boyd has been charged with kidnapping and hindering apprehension.
Raymond Moore Sr., 28, is wanted in connection with the Aug. 18, 2010 fatal shooting of a man during a purported drug deal outside a Mitchell Drive hotel.

Police canceled a Morgan Nick child alert for a missing Little Rock infant after he was found unharmed about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Little
Rock police found Raymond Moore Jr., 8 months, in North Little Rock’s
Baring Cross neighborhood today after a search began Monday night.

Police still are seeking the infant’s father, Raymond Moore, in connection with a 2010 homicide that happened in Little Rock.

Moore took the child at gunpoint from 5111 W. 22nd St. in the capital city, Little Rock police spokesman Lt. Terry Hasting said.

Moore’s
vehicle was found in Little Rock early this morning and its driver,
Miquel Boyd, was taken into custody. Boyd has been charged with
