LMPD: Missing 4-year-old found safe in car after call from suspect Saturday
(WHAS11) According to Dwight Mitchell, LMPD, the missing 4-year-old was found in the suspect’s car at 18th and Oak streets at approximately 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
The child’s mother, Sarah Dierson, and her father went looking for the 4-year-old Saturday; they had a house or area where they suspected he might be. While they were in the area, they got a text message from the suspect telling them to go to a fast food restaurant and the child would be there. The mother immediately called an LMPD detective, went to the location, found the car and the child was inside.
Immediately after the happy reunion, Antonio R, who goes by Tony, called the mother back and told her he didn’t want her to think that he’d left the child there alone. He told her he was watching, even if she couldn’t see him. He asked if there was a warrant out for him.
Dierson said the child is okay; he’s running around, playing laughing and said, when asked what he had been doing all this time, “Riding around with Tony.”
Antonio Ross is still at large.

is wrong with him,” Sara Dierson said. “I just think he has some
personal issues going on and he didn't want to come home and happened to
